In each part of ALPES production process (either in spinning and dying), the specifications esthablished by the Italian and International laws are widely applied and complied with, either in reference to the chemical substances used (yarning additives, colors and auxiliares), the air emissions and waste water treatment, and the work conditions (safety on the work place, respect of workers’ rights, total absence of  forms of discrimination and/or minor labor).

ALPES enterely applies and complies with the European REACH regulation (CE) n. 1907/2006 , by scrupulous updating of the company database with the MSDS ( Material Safery Data Sheet) of any chemical substance used and making sure each of them is correctly registered and authorized by the ECHA Agency.

In tune with this deep attention to the environment and the person, ALPES MANIFATTURA FILATI has obtained the most important and globally recognized certifications in organic yarns (GOTS – OCS – BCI Better Cotton), in recycled yarns (GRS – RCS), in safety of product for the consumer (OEKO-TEX), in the theme of respect for animals (RWS – RMS – AIA International Alpaca Association).

Alpes yarns, as well as with certified raw materials, can be produced with the most innovative ecological fibers (PRIMALOFT BIO^®, the first polyester in the world completely bio-degradable and from recycled origin – ECOVERO^TM – TENCEL^TM Lyocell – POLYLANA^® – AMNI SOUL ECO^® – ACRYCYCLE^®).
